Jim DeCesare Kentucky State Representative

Bio

Representative Jim DeCesare has been a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2005 serving the 21st district in Warren County and is the first Republican to hold this seat.


Representative DeCesare is considered one of the most fiscal and social conservative members of the Kentucky General Assembly.


Representative DeCesare serves on the following session committees: Agriculture & Small Business; Budget Review Subcommittee on Postsecondary Education (Liaison Member); Economic Development; Education; and Transportation.


During the interim Representative DeCesare serves on the following interim committees: Agriculture; Budget Review Subcommittee on Postsecondary Education (Liaison Member); Economic Development and Tourism; Economic Development Task Force; Education; Postsecondary Education; Rural Issues; and Transportation.


Representative DeCesare is involved in many civic and charitable organizations in his community. He is a Mason, Shriner and sits on the board of directors for the Capitol Arts Center. In his spare time he plays drums in a local band.


Representative DeCesare attends State Street United Methodist Church and resides in Bowling Green, Kentucky with his wife Amy and their two children, Brooke and Justin.
