Representative DeCesare Files For Re-Election to The Kentucky House of Representatives

With a continuing focus on making his home and the Commonwealth a better place to live, work and raise a family, State Representative Jim DeCesare (R-Bowling Green) announced he will seek a fifth consecutive term representing the 21st House District in the Kentucky House of Representatives.

“It’s been a pleasure and honor to serve the people of Warren County and I am humbled my friends, neighbors and constituents continue to show their confidence in me as your State Representative,” said Representative DeCesare. “While we have seen tremendous progress in our county, there are still many issues we must tackle in our Commonwealth and I am hopeful voters will allow me to continue working for them.”

First elected to the House of Representatives in 2004, Representative DeCesare currently serves on the House Committees on Agriculture, Economic Development, Education, and Transportation, as well as the Budget Review Subcommittee on Postsecondary Education and the Economic Development Task Force.  During his time as a State Representative, Representative DeCesare has been a passionate supporter of issues related to small business, education, and holding government accountable to the taxpayers of Kentucky.

“Jim continues to represent his district and House Republicans well in Frankfort,” said House Republican Floor Leader Jeff Hoover. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and abilities to his job representing the 21st District, and I look forward to having him as part of the House Republican Caucus come next January.”

Representative DeCesare filed his papers on Thursday, November 17th with Secretary of State in the State Capitol in Frankfort, officially declaring his candidacy for State Representative of the 21st House District.  Signing as his two voters were Dr. Robert Duvall and Paulette Clardy both of Bowling Green. Deborah Williams acted as Notary Public.
